This rare vintage Sgt. Pepper inspired side split tunic with gorgeous globe textured silver buttons and embroidered design detail was a heart-stopper of a find.
Embroidered Wrist Cuffs
Silver Textured Buttons
I was casually browsing through a rack at a thrift store with my mom when my fingers landed on this prize. The fit was almost perfect straight off the rack (which is also rare for me). I did have the shoulders brought in a bit and the arm holes tightened up.
Plum Ribbed Tube Skirt
I filtered through a few different ideas before landing on this styling. The escandalo part of me wanted to rock this with bare legs. However, in reality these side splits are too high to justify even pretending it is a dress. Then I thought maybe I could pull it off with black nylons. But let’s be real, that’s practically the same thing as bare legs. I will likely adopt this risqué styling when dressing for a night out, but for daywear I decided to get a bit more creative. The result was a long slim silhouette.
Crew Socks With Fluevogs
The plum ribbed tube skirt (forever 21) allows just enough color coming out from the tunic. The black crew socks paired with my fluevogs gave me a little bit more warmth on this cool-ish day and extended the length of the shoes to have an ankle boot affect.
Silver Cube and Hoop Earrings
I finished this look off with my multiple geometric shaped earrings – the cube (thrifted) peeking through the slick hoop (purchased at Luca).
